(Anmerkung: OP des Tumors + 2-malige Bestrahlung + 1 - malige Elektrochemotherapie)
Some would call it a miracle; we call it medical competence.
Returning from a 2 week stay abroad, we discovered a tennis-ball sized tumor on the inner side of Benedikt, our black Lab-Gorden setter’s lower leg. Following the shocking news of the highly aggressive skin cancer diagnosed by Dr. Wendlberger , we relied on his advice as a source of hope. The classic treatment would have meant losing a leg.
During the 3-month period of support and treatment, we experienced close cooperation with Dr. Wendlberger and his clinic. It was amazing to see how our extremely anxious dog, who is so difficult to get to a vet, voluntarily went to the location as trust was developed.
As owners, we were involved and informed of all procedures, receiving photo documentation and explanation around what was evolving. The open and honest communication gave us confidence in the decisions that were taken.
We valued the pragmatic and innovative approaches that Dr. Wendlberger took in finding alternative ways, for example, in stabilizing the leg to promote wound healing.
Following the treatment, our dog has fully recovered and shows no signs of having impairment. He is as active and joyful as ever! Friends and relatives who followed the procedures, some of whom are medicial doctors, can hardly believe the recovery. The results confirmed our choice to follow Dr. Wendlberger’s expertise. We are thankful for his support and patience in helping us through our traumatic time and would highly recommend you give your pet the chance Benedikt had. It has really paid off.
Thanks again. Claus, Linda and Benedikt Huber-Wilhelm
